For anyone that missed their very brief appearance on S@H they are back in stock. They moved from "Sold Out" to "Temporarily Out of Stock" on Monday so I guess LEGO did a second run.

Hi everyone,
This is probably a question you have been asked before. There are so many different brands of bricks available from a multitude of manufacturers. The price variance is dramatic to say the least.

I'm wondering if they are Lego compatible. An example is Duplo bricks I assume they are compatible but what about the cheaper sets available through stores such as Tuthills, Euro Store, Dealz, Mr. Price which are all different brands mostly from China and other far eastern countries.

I'm currently planning out a model and have ordered several individual parts direct from Lego to gauge sizes etc during the planning stage, but I'd prefer to buy cheaper when possible.

(I've looked on bricklink etc and I will be using these sites)

Any information is appreciated.

Just spotted some pics of the series 16 minifigs on brick picker - 2 suits this round. Will have to get them early before they've all been palapated away

Rumours are emerging that there has been a recall on Series 15 LEGO Collectible Minifigures. The minifigs have seemingly been pulled from (US) online shops and stores although I note they are still available on LS@H europe. Supposedly a legal issue has arisen, causing an emergency product withdrawal, but no other info is available. Might be time to pick up some series 15 minifigs especially the shark if you believe these rumours to be true.

Hi all,

Where is the best place to get additional tracks for the Lego city high speed train. We have gotten the switching tracks pack, but the straight and curved set seems to be out of stock most places.

Am I right in saying there are only a couple of options in tracks?
It's a set we hope to build on to go with our other city stuff, but it seems to be very limited in what and where you can get it.

And are the flexible ones any good?

Can somebody tell me why when I go to buy the hq just now, the price jumps from 360 to 402 at the checkout screen?

Its my first Christmas since I've gotten back into Lego and was just wondering when is the best time after Christmas to buy Lego as pretty much all Argos and Smyths stores are sold out of anything good or interesting and stores that do have stock like ToysRus are ridiculously priced compared to other stores.

Is Stephen's day the best day or should I wait till new stock comes in in the first or second week of January?

Did a little research into buying lego abroad. Lego is proper to 9503003500 with a rate of 4.7%. Goods with a value(excluding freight) of less than €150 may be imported free of duty. Vat is charged on anything with a value of €22 or more. Duty less than €10 is not collected so you can go a bit above the €150 but you’ll still be caught for vat at 23% Duty is calculated on CIF value and vat is charged on CIF + duty.

The Lego sickness has well and truly gripped me once more. Any lego I have bought previously was either from a shop in town (e.g Smyths) or from the Lego website. However, my two favourite collections Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit are both retired so I will have to look further afield to complete my collection.

If anyone is selling any LOTR or the Hobbit lego please let me know.

Also, as I am new to buying outside of the usual channels, could anyone suggest places to buy. From reading through the forums, these seem like the places to go

Lastly, when buying from the likes of Amazon do people use the likes of parcel motel to get the Lego delivered to the Repblic?
