Code of Conduct

About This Code of Conduct

Brick.ie is where adult fans of LEGO® come to connect.

Whether you’re into building sprawling LEGO® cities, collecting rare minifigures or creating your own masterpieces, you’ll find yourself surrounded by people who share your passion for play.

We want everyone to feel totally comfortable sharing, discussing, posting, and connecting in our community. We don’t expect everyone to have the same views, but we do want everyone to feel like they belong. Hate and discrimination have no home here. If we think someone is making others unwelcome, we’ll put a stop to it. And we’d encourage you to report any violations, so that together we can keep our community spaces safe, inclusive, and fun.

These guidelines outline what we will and will not allow in brick.ie. They’re subject to change and we’ll review them regularly to make sure they’re up to date.

By sharing these, we hope you’ll play your part in making brick.ie a fun and safe space for everyone!

How you can help build a great community

- Be respectful: It’s OK not to agree with someone’s point of view. It’s not OK to attack them personally.
- Be welcoming: We want our community to be inclusive and accessible to everyone.
- Be kind: Find ways to encourage and support each other, be generous with compliments, and remember we’re all here because we love bricks!
- Be aware of your words and actions.
- Protect others around you and the community by reporting violations.

Incidents and Reporting

Brick.ie members are bound by the Codes of Conduct of any events we attend. You should always follow the reporting procedures set out in those Codes of Conduct in the first instance.

You can report harassment or other potential Code of Conduct violations by email to info@brick.ie . Anyone who feels the Code of Conduct has been violated by a member may use this method of reporting at any time.

Once you submit a report, our Admin Team will respond to you as quickly as possible.

The brick.ie team has the right to take any actions needed to keep our website, forums, social media pages and events welcoming for all and to ensure that brick.ie and its members remain compliant with any official support programs. Measures taken may include warning the offender, mediating solutions between parties, or taking any other action the team considers necessary. Where warranted, additional actions may include suspension of posting privileges, removal from events and for the most egregious incidents, expulsion from membership.
