We are now more than two months into 2026 and have already attended our first events with more planned for the first half of the year.
A dozen members of the brick.ie team travelled in late February to the first AFOL networking event of 2026, namely Bricktastic in Manchester. Its the UK's largest LEGO event organised by the Fairybricks charity, the same charity that our very own Brick Féile will support in July. It was great to see new models from our members and we know many more are on the way for our own 2026 events.
Next up will be the Bangor Brick Show in Northern Ireland on Saturday 21 March which is a fantastic local event in aid of the church there. The brick.ie team will be out in force for that. The following weekend in March a large group of brick.ie exhibitors will travel to Cork for Cork Brick Con which is a hugely popular event with models, retailers and interactivities at the Marina Market.
On 11 and 12 April, a team from brick.ie will be at the Dun Laoghaire Maritime Museum with nautical themed custom models and some fishy interaction for the first time. If you can't make it that weekend, RMS Leinster is on display there in LEGO form.
A small brick.ie team returns to Cork with a LEGO activity and some models on 20 and 21 June for the Cork Summer Show, a very popular event every Father's Day. The week before that, some of the team will be in northern Portugal for another AFOL fan weekend at Paredes de Coura.
After a little respite, the full brick.ie team and international friends will present Brick Féile, Ireland's premier event for LEGO fans. With Ireland's largest brick pits, huge selection of custom displays and train layouts, fantastic retailers, the Fairy Bricks mosaic challenge, art in the atrium building, our Great Ball Contraption, and more, its a great weekend over the 11 and 12 July. If you liked driving our F1 cars last year and building our giant rocket, you'll love some of the new activities we are planning for 2026.
