Does anyone know much about our international mail? Mainly, does it travel through the U.K? Even though the strike they're having is said to be small, i'm a little worried about some stuff.
2 packages from America, sent a week and a half ago still haven't shown up. Usually they arrive within 5 days.
Same goes for 2 packs I sent, one to Britain and the other to the states, on the same date as above. Neither have reached their destinations yet.
Maybe i'm a little impatient or paranoid, but its never been this bad for me.
I've seen this set for
€ 29,99 on Shop at Home
€ 37,99 in Smyths Fonthill road
€ 44,99 in Toymaster Jervis street
€ 46,99 in Smyths Jervis street
I think that's the biggest price range I've seen on a new set in a long time...
New sets in Crescent SC, Limerick Art and hobby last week. Best deal - city corner at €42! Also Drawbridge defense and kings chariot cheaper than S@H at €37 and €18 respectively (same as Smyths). Red sports car was €9 same as S@H and smyths.
Just wondering if anyone has seen the Summer '09 sets in Smyths yet? Potential still for some of the sets to be cheaper than S@H.
Limerick's two stores are out of town (Ennis Rd., Childers Rd.) and I'm not driving myself so I'm not usually there unless I make a deliberate trip out on the bus or whatever.
Well, despite the fact that Amazon still can't organise themselves to allow Irish customers to buy from the Toys section, you can buy from "marketplace" retailers that they host.
I just ordered City Corner and Drawbridge Defense for combined total incl. postage of €80 approx. compared to €100 excl. shipping on Lego S@H (Ireland). Mind you I think Smyths Toys will likely have the same prices (e.g. City Corner for €50 instead of the €60 of S@H) as they seem to have new sets cheaper than S@H recently.
Still, just a heads up.
