Here's a recent idea I came up with. I noticed that nearly all the Christmas trees that were released in the advent calendars or other sets are rather blocky. I figured I'd try something a bit different, using the octagonal bar frame (part 30033) to make an eight sided tree instead of the usual four to give a more natural appearance.
I built this for some contest again.
We should build a scene showing any event, that took place in the Year 2016.
I get an extra point if it is associated with LEGO.
Diecast Model Show in Limerick was my first exhibition what I took a part this year and I chose it.
Do you have recognized some micro models?
What do you think?
This is my Christmas decoration.
I saw something on Flickr (tc_tsang88 inspired me to build this).
Inside are Lego battery box, M motor and lights highlighting the fireplace.
Here is a MOC I made today. It's Santa's sleigh. The santa is of course the Christmas 2016 set. The reindeer are nodded from the 2016 polybag.

My interpretation of the George Washington Masonic Monument.
Yes it's white (again) but I wanted to use up the bricks left over from my Whitehouse MOC.
It's not a replica, but a homage to the buildings design and structure.
Next time I promise I'll use a different coloured brick.

Been working on this all week pretty happy with the outcome. It's power functions so well packed but worked out well.
Another thing for the competition.
We had to build a machine was invented before 1822.
