Hey all. We been modifying the dark castle which we brought to BrickCon.
Full rebuild of the lava, removed some building clutter, added motorised element and a smoke machine. I'd like to do some more decluttering of the top part.
Here it is in action:

Does anyone remember Johnny Bravo?
Model was made for New Elementary competition "Mind That Banana"
In the challenge we should use any banana parts from:
Banana (33085, 67129)
Banana Peel (5215)
Banana Bunch (3566)

Thanks to Wes for organising the AFOL activities at Brick Con!
Just thought I'd share my entry in the "Master Builder" builder challenge, which I was quite pleased with...

Everyone was given the same set:
Some of the building techniques are a bit suspect, but it was a fun little build. I honestly had no idea what it was going to be until it started to come together.
With very little build time in recent weeks and over the summer I resorted to an expansion of my Marvel mosaic collection which now extends to [edit: 13] mosaic pieces of the same size. As always, at this scale they are best viewed at a distance or through a camera lens (or on this forum ...
During Brick Con, I did a "live build" of a computer case. Bricks were provided by the con, and PC components were from GG Machines who were demoing gaming PCs at the show.
Unfortunately I forgot to take any photos during the build, though I believe some others did, if anyone has "in progress" photos, I'd love some.
The case was mostly built from basic bricks and plates, with strategically placed technic bricks. The motherboard was attached to these with cable ties. The power supply is resting on the floor of the case, and there is a pillar to support the graphics card.
The case included a flip down "door" to give access to the interior.
One of my interests is space and spacecraft and I've recently started working on my own MOCs of spacecraft.
Here are some digital Lego models of Ocean Liners I've created during the last few months.
Many of you say the LEGO Friends Mars Base I had at Brick Féile. I just realised that I haven't posted any photos to the group, so I intend to correct that.
But first, I'd like to show some photos of the new Galaxy Explorer that I showed for the first time at the Blessington show today.

Friends Galaxy Explorer WIP by James Shields, on Flickr
I'm still waiting on some parts to finish it off, but I decided to bring the incomplete ship to Blessington, and display it with the engineering crew hard at work on it.
It's built from the 10497 Galaxy Explorer instructions, but recoloured to fit the Friends Space theme.
My two new flowers what I made for Legos House competition.
I used a few nice parts here.
