Something well out of my comfort-zone, built for the 100th Lugnuts challenge. This is a vehicle from a video game called Twisted Metal.

It's got a full set of Power Functions inside, and steering is done with an adder/subtracter mechanism rather than simply one motor for each side.

Created a moc for my Church showing what happened during Easter or Holy Week.
Hope the links work ok to my Flickr page, never tried this before and just set it up. There are a couple of photos on flickr showing some of the scenes.
Earlier this week brick.ie member Oiley assembled his latest historic recreation of the 1916 Easter Rising in LEGO for Amfenz's class at Two Mile House NS - I was the supporting act.

Hi guys!
In the 19th century the Brothers Grimm traveled all around Germany collecting local fairy tales and publishing them later.
I chose to represent their efforts by showcasing various different fairy tales that they are more or less responsible for. The left page opens to Hansel and Gretel, the right to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
I also placed references to four other fairy tales in the model - can you spot them? ![]()

Built for the Brickstory 2016 contest that Kockice is hosting. Thanks for the fun contest!
(Yes, photography-wise its not my best. Apologies, I have a busy schedule these days.)
Looking forward to hearing what you think of it!

After the mammoth theatre build, I needed to do something completely different, both to confront new challenges and to avoid comparisons. Also, with most of my key, base colours used up, my colour selection was severely limited!
For anyone not familiar with superhero lore, the Fortress of Solitude was created with a shard from the planet Krypton and hidden in the remote Arctic. It's Superman's home-away-from-home where he receives instruction from his father, Jor-El.
The model is based on the fortress as depicted in the original Superman movies, with a couple of imagined features added (notably the caves)

Haven’t posted one of my mocs here yet but I really like this one so decided to share it.

Ok, so this is my Peterbilt truck. Stil is WIP, but I hope i'll finish soon ![]()
This year will be 3 years where I'm trying to gather all together.
The most reason was money, chrome bricks are very expensive, and this is my first huge MOC and everything I learned.
To be honest, I never would have imagined purchasing a lego Tie fighter before the latest Star Wars movie came out. But I was so impressed with the scenes and portrayal of the spacecraft that I ran out and bought the Special Forces Tie fighter.
I love this set and almost had not complaints at all. The only thing that bothered me was that the heavy weapons turret, attached to the underside of the cockpit, was only portrayed using tow special tile pieces. In universe this heavy weapons turret is one of the main features that sets the SF Tie apart from the standard tie. I didn't have many extra pieces to work with, but I was proud of the result.
I believe it better represents the turret in the movie and it also rotates 360 degrees. Let me know what you all think. Thanks!
Hi there!
When I was younger the Audi R8 was the coolest vehicle around - to me at least. And I always found it more appealing than red sportscars from Italy or the Porsches that are being built quite close to my place. Iron Man had one, I wanted one. Obviously such a car is not the most practical thing around, especially when you turn into an AFOL and want to bring models to events and conventions.
So I decided to build one, in minifig scale. I started working on this a bit over a year ago and kept coming back to it to reiterate and make it better until about 4 weeks ago I felt like I was done. I'm pretty happy how it turned out - what do you think? Would love some feedback, my knowledge about building cars is quite limited.
