Hi all.
Has anybody here ever had a Pick A Brick order split by TLG to facilitate postage?
The reason that I am asking, is because this happened to me.
I placed the Pick A Brick order on SaH on the 15th of October.
It was dispatched on the 19th of October.
It arrived to me on the 25th of October.
On checking the order approximately 150 pieces were "Missing" out of 1,600+ pieces that were in the order.
After speaking with TLG's customer service on the 26th of october, and enquiring about the missing pieces, I was informed that due to the size of the order, it was split, because it would all not fit into 1 bag/box for postage.
I was told that it was all dispatched on the 19th, and would take 19 days to get to Ireland.
After thinking about the response that I got, I am beginning to wonder about it, as 100 of the missing pieces are 1x1 tiles, which would not have taken up that much room in the bag.
And also in the past, I have gotten larger Pick A Brick orders, around 2,5
I came across the clothing site Uniqlo which has some LEGO branded t-shirts. Unfortunately they appear only to be available now in Small and XS but they might be of interest @ 9.90 each. No idea what shipping to Ireland is but its EU.
The shirt with the single LEGO logo on the front and the old logos on the back looks particularly nice.
Just noticed it today on the Harry Potter CMF's, they clearly state that there are '22 limited edition' figures but they have a limit of 20 per purchase.
Is this them shooting themselves in the foot or intended ploy to make you buy 22 over two purchases in turn you will most likely buy more then 22 as you are making two purchases and in theory allows you top purchase 40!?
With that said I thought they check purchases and if you make multiple transactions with the limit reached on a set they cancel the newer order(s)!?
Just thought its a good value compared to what's on bricklink. Many smaller sets reduced as well.
Curious as to how it works for buyers on purchases, I made my first order today for ~3,500 pieces, do people count every piece and complain if there not all there or is there an unwritten rule of say x amount of pieces either way is ok?
I see the new Lego Store in Belfast opens on Saturday
I came across the following polybags in Tesco, Nutgrove:
I got the last City one. There was still one pug left and a few of the others. Anybody spot these in other branches?
Guys I've set up a page on Facebook called Lego buy and sell ireland if anybody wishes to join it will hopefully grow to be a big group
Hi Folks,
I know this is listed as a retired product but I was wondering if anyone has spotted this in any stores, hopefully at a great discount?
Thanks,
Dave
Hello there,
I am in progress of developing an international website-aggregator of Lego offers in stores around the world: BricksFinder.com.
Initially this site was made for USA and Canada, but now it also works with Ireland (15 stores), UK (19 stores) and some Eastern Europe countries.
I would appreciate if you share your feedback what else should be done or what is not clear or useful.
If you don’t mind, please let me know one important thing for me: if you use my site for monitoring pricing, how would you like to be alerted about Lego sales: Twitter, Telegram (if anyone uses it?), email, browser alerts or any other?
It has also a Telegram bot @BricksFinderBot in beta (with subscriptions and other stuff)
Hope you enjoy searching BricksFinder ![]()
P.S. I know about brickcat, but we didn't know about it when we started ![]()
